Happy

I made this tag for this week's Crazy amigo's theme which is "Garlands". I used one of my favourite Stampotique stamps, Hanging hearts. I made the background with Dylussions sprayinks and paint. All the stamps I used are from Stampotique: Hanging hearts, Swirl stalks, Altered happy, Tools cube, Lovelyarethesound, Abstract foliage and Gussie up

Have fun stamping! Nellie

Fabulous Wheels of Freedom

I've made these journal pages in honour of my love/hate relationship with my wheelchair! I thought ~{Scooter Girl}~ was perfect for it.

I've also used:

~{Abby's Hearts}~ for the flower border,
~{Fax to Wolfgang}~ on the background,
~{Scalloped Lace Border}~,
~{Fabulous}~ and
~{Random Acts Alphabet}~.

April Calendar

Bard by Amy Wilson Wellenstein
Carol's flower

I love to use Stampotiqe images to decorate my monthly calendar pages in my art journal. This month I chose to use Bard as he looks as if he could be throwing something. I thought he could throw a few spring flowers over the month of April!

Thanks for looking!

April Showers-Rain, Rain Go Away!

I went from Spring last week, to April Showers this week.  Not a lot of embellishments on this, just a clean & simple card showing off this darling image that I always have fun coloring.

I did add some crystal accents to the umbrella to give it a little shine.

Stampotiques' "Chessy" and "The Tweedles"

Doesnt the name "The Tweedles" just make you laugh? :)  Going along with the current challenge to "doodle" on your creation I decided I NEEDED to make a few more cards.  I used two images from artist Janet Klein.  First of course is the "Tweedles" colored with copics, cut out and put on black cs.  Yep, the white is me going on and  on with my doodle dots :) .  I also used  "the simplest things give me ideas" #9083 quote for the top.
Next I colored "Chessy" #9229 and popped him up on black cs over a tag I stenciled , sprayed and sewed a bit.   My hub was telling me this cat needs a toothpick hanging from his mouth! :)  lol    I used the sentiment "good things good thoughts" #9012 also from Stampotique!   TFL!   jane

April Guest Designer

It's the first of the month and with that we have a new guest designer this month.  You may recognize her work as she's a frequent player in our challenges and she has got some of the cutest little ATC's I've ever seen.

Stampotique welcomes Fiona Shultz this month as our guest designer.  Here's a little bit about Fiona:

Hello, my name is Fiona and I am a craft addict from way back – as a young girl it was knitting and crochet, as a young adult it was tapestry and cross stitch.  Some 15 years ago I began dabbling in card making and stamping.  In that 15 years, I have also had a go at patchwork, quilting, sewing, and scrapbooking to name a few.  About 2 years ago my love of stamping was reignited, along with it a greater love of card making and the discovery of ATC’s.  This, along with knitting and crochet, fills most of my ‘spare’ time.

You can drop by and say "hi" to Fiona over at her blog, Made by Fee.
